Everything you need to know about our edge clips, materials, certifications, and ordering process.

Edge clips are used to route and secure cables along the edges of metal panels, sheet metal, and profile rails — without drilling or additional tools. They are widely used in photovoltaic (PV) installations, electrical cabinets, industrial machinery, and automotive wiring harnesses.
Yes. All Clipberg edge clips are made from UV-stabilized PA6 or PA6.6 polyamide, rated for continuous outdoor exposure. They pass ISO 9227 NSS 720-hour salt spray testing and are designed for operating temperatures from −40°C to +125°C — making them fully suitable for rooftop and ground-mount solar installations.
The metal U-clip is an integrated stainless steel or galvanized spring element inside the plastic body. It snaps onto the edge of a panel or sheet metal profile (1.0–3.0 mm thick) without any tools, screws, or adhesives. Installation takes under a second per clip.
Each model is designed for a different cable diameter or application:
  • CB0080 — clip with integrated 200 mm cable tie strap, for bundles up to Ø 45 mm, max load 220 N
  • CB0081 — compact clip for single cables Ø 4–6 mm
  • CB0010 — ultra-compact block-style clip, minimal footprint
  • CB0011 — standard single-loop clip, wide profile compatibility
  • CB0012 — twin-loop clip for routing two cables simultaneously
The standard MOQ is 1 000 pieces per product code, supplied in bags. For custom-designed components, MOQ is agreed individually depending on tooling and production requirements. Contact us for a quote.
Yes. All Clipberg cable management components are RoHS compliant, meaning they contain no restricted hazardous substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE). Full compliance documentation is available on request.
Yes. We design and manufacture custom cable management components tailored to your specific geometry, cable diameter, panel thickness, and mounting requirements. We handle the full process from concept and 3D design through prototyping to series production. Send us your requirements at marek.sikora@clipberg.com.
Our standard materials are PA6 and PA6.6 polyamide with UV stabilizers. For specialized applications we also work with PA12, which offers superior chemical resistance and flexibility at low temperatures. All materials are RoHS compliant and suitable for outdoor use.
Yes. The CB0082 is a self-locking PA6.6 UV-resistant cable tie (200 × 5 mm) designed for PV installations and outdoor industrial wiring. Available in black (UV-stabilized), rated −40°C to +125°C, RoHS compliant, in bags of 1 000 pieces.
All products are designed and manufactured in Bielsko-Biała, Silesia, Poland. We are a European manufacturer — no Asian intermediaries. This means shorter lead times, consistent quality, and direct technical support.
